He has served as Assistant Director of Religious Education for the Fourth Universalist Society, the Religious Education Assistant for the Unitarian Church of All Souls, and the Assistant Director of Development for The Acting Company. A member of Actors' Equity Association, he has performed with the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, the Southern Shakespeare Festival, and Hip to Hip Theatre Company. He has also appeared in the CBS shows "Madam Secretary" and "FBI: Most Wanted." His original plays have been performed at Oberlin College, Columbia University, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and various independent festivals. His current research includes locating a secular aesthetic and investigating the concept of "playability" as an expressive barrier.
